Your computer network is at risk. So what can you do to protect it? Start off with learning the terminology. An Asset is your entire system including computers, the software, the data, and the people who use it. The baseline is the minimum level of security that you need. Encryption is a way of altering data so it cannot be viewed by those who are not authorized. Risk analysis is identifying the risk of assets.
